Meet Muse: Your New Space to Capture and Share Ideas
I’m excited to share Muse with you — a project I built to help you capture ideas instantly, find fresh inspiration, and connect with a community of creative minds. Whether you’re a developer, designer, student, or just someone who likes to brainstorm and jot down thoughts, Muse is designed to fit seamlessly into your daily routine.
Why Muse?
Ideas don’t wait, and neither should you. Muse is all about capturing those sparks of creativity before they fade away. With Muse, you can capture ideas instantly. There are no complicated forms or distractions — just a simple way to add a short idea with a title and category. Muse automatically timestamps each idea so you can see exactly when inspiration hit.
Explore and Get Inspired
You can explore and rediscover your thoughts easily by filtering ideas by category or scrolling through them by date. It’s like your personal vault of creativity that grows with you over time. If you ever feel stuck or need a fresh perspective, Muse offers a random idea generator that serves up surprising insights from the community. This feature helps you break through creative blocks and discover new angles.
Muse also connects you with a creative community through its public idea board. You can see what others are thinking, share your own ideas, and be inspired by the collective creativity of people just like you.
How Muse Works
Behind the scenes, Muse is built with performance and simplicity in mind. The backend is written in Go, making it fast, efficient, and reliable. The frontend uses Next.js to deliver a smooth and responsive experience on any device. The entire platform stays minimal so your focus stays on your ideas.
Getting Started
If you want to try Muse, getting started is straightforward. You can clone the open-source repository, install dependencies for both frontend and backend, and run the app locally to start capturing your ideas right away. Detailed setup guides and documentation are available at muse.egeuysal.com/docs.
